Regulatory compliance and risk advisory
Anti-money-laundering programmes, goAML registration, beneficial-ownership filings and business risk advisory — built around what your company actually does, and documented for the regulator.
Regulators now test whether compliance works, not just whether it exists
Every UAE company has to keep accurate registers of its beneficial owners, partners and nominee directors and file them with its licensing authority. Businesses in sectors exposed to money-laundering risk carry far more: registration on the goAML reporting platform, a documented risk assessment, customer due diligence, a named compliance officer and the ability to report suspicious activity.
Supervisors inspect these programmes and expect to see them operating — screening records, training logs, risk ratings and decisions on file. We design the programme around your real activity, register you where required, prepare the policies and registers, and help you keep the evidence that it runs day to day.

Financial institutions and designated non-financial businesses and professions — such as real estate brokers, dealers in precious metals and stones, auditors and accountants, and corporate service providers — must comply with the UAE’s AML rules. We assess whether your activity is in scope before recommending anything.
goAML is the reporting platform of the UAE Financial Intelligence Unit. Businesses that fall under the AML rules register on it and use it to submit suspicious transaction reports and other required reports.
Broadly, the natural person who ultimately owns or controls the company — typically through 25% or more of its shares or voting rights, or through control by other means. Where nobody meets that test, the person who exercises control over management is recorded instead. We work through your ownership chain to identify who must be listed.
The supervisor reviews your risk assessment, policies, customer files, screening and training records, and may test individual transactions. Being able to show the programme operating in practice is what an inspection is designed to check.
